Chef Su Kim Hock, renowned for his dedication and excellence, began his journey with a hotel management degree in the UK before finding his true calling in culinary arts. Mentored by esteemed chefs and shaped by his early experiences.
Returning to Penang, he opened his first restaurant in 2014, followed by a second in Taipei in 2016. Represented Taiwan in the S.Pellegrino Best Young Chef, he reached the semi-finals. Eventually, he founded “Restaurant Au Jardin,” One of only four restaurants awarded a Michelin star in Malaysia’s first Michelin Guide in 2023.
Chef Kim Hock collaborates with local producers, championing sustainable and innovative gastronomy, blending indigenous ingredients with progressive culinary flair.
