The Chatrium brand was founded in 2008 under City Realty Co., Ltd., an established real estate arm of the Sophonpanich family headed by Mr. Chali Sophonpanich, son of the late Bangkok Bank Chairman, Mr. Chatri Sophonpanich.

Strategically leveraging City Realty’s strong development expertise and robust financial backing, Chatrium Hospitality has gained a foothold as a growing and leading independent hotel group in Thailand and manages 11 properties under two core brands, Chatrium and Maitria, totaling over 3,100 keys.
